Making a booking

Bookings and enquiries are handled directly with us by phone, WhatsApp or email. A booking is only confirmed once we have agreed the dates and rate with you and received your deposit. Rates are quoted per unit, per night, and are confirmed at the time of booking.

Deposit and payment

To secure your dates we ask for a deposit of 50% of the total, payable within 3 days of us confirming availability. The balance is due 14 days before arrival, or on arrival for bookings made inside 14 days. If a deposit is not received in time, we may release the dates.

Cancellation

If you need to cancel, please let us know as soon as possible. Our standard terms are:

• More than 30 days before arrival: deposit refunded, less a small administration fee.
• 14 to 30 days before arrival: deposit is retained.
• Less than 14 days before arrival, or no-show: the full booking amount is payable.

Where we are able to re-book the dates, we will refund what we reasonably can. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under the Consumer Protection Act, and we will always deal with cancellations fairly and reasonably.

Check-in and check-out

Check-in is from 14:00 and check-out is by 10:00. If you need different times, just ask and we will do our best to help. Please let us know your expected arrival time so we can meet you.

House rules

• The number of guests must not exceed the number agreed for your unit.
• Please respect other guests and keep noise down between 22:00 and 07:00.
• No smoking inside the units. Smoking is welcome outdoors.
• Braai and lapa areas are shared, please leave them clean for the next guests.
• Pets are only by prior arrangement.
• The pool, trail and grounds are used at your own risk, please supervise children at all times.

Damage and lost items

Please treat the units and grounds with care. You are responsible for any loss or damage caused during your stay beyond normal wear and tear, and we may charge for repair or replacement. We are not responsible for guests' belongings left on the property.

Liability and safety

We take reasonable care to keep the lodge safe and well maintained. To the extent allowed by law, we are not liable for injury, loss or damage arising from use of the pool, trail, beach access or grounds, or from events outside our control such as power interruptions or weather. Guests use all facilities at their own risk.
